چکیده
We study the ability of variational approaches based on self-consistent mean-field and beyond-mean-field methods to reproduce exact energies electromagnetic properties nuclei defined within $sd$-shell valence space using non-trivial USD Hamiltonian. In particular, Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (HFB), variation after particle-number projection (VAPNP) projected generator coordinate (PGCM) are compared solutions {obtained by} full diagonalization analyze role played by proton-neutron ($pn$) mixing as well quadrupole pairing degrees freedom (including both isoscalar isovector channels) in description spectra even-even, even-odd odd-odd whole $sd$-shell.

Mixed-Mode Shell-Model Calculations
A one-dimensional harmonic oscillator in a box is used to introduce the oblique-basis concept. The method is extended to the nuclear shell model by combining traditional spherical states, which yield a diagonal representation of the usual single-particle interaction, with collective configurations that track deformation. An application to 24Mg, using the realistic two-body interaction of Wilden...

The one-dimensional harmonic oscillator in a box problem is used to introduce the concept of an oblique-basis shell-model theory. The method is applied to nuclei by combining traditional spherical shell-model states with SU(3) collective configurations. An application to Mg, using the realistic two-body interaction of Wildenthal, is used to explore the validity of this oblique-basis, mixed-symm...
متن کاملSpectral Statistics in Large Shell Model Calculations
The spectral statistics of low–lying states of f p shell nuclei are studied by performing large shell–model calculations with a realistic nuclear interaction. For Ca isotopes, we find deviations from the predictions of the random–matrix theory which suggest that some spherical nuclei are not as chaotic in nature as the conventional view assumes.
متن کاملLarge-basis shell-model calculations for p-shell nuclei
Results of large-basis shell-model calculations for nuclei with A = 7 − 11 are presented. The effective interactions used in the study were derived microscopically from the Reid93 potential and take into account the Coulomb potential as well as the charge dependence of T = 1 partial waves. For A = 7, a 6h̄Ω model space was used, while for the rest of the studied nuclides, the calculations were p...
متن کاملShell-model calculations for neutron-rich nuclei in the Oflp shell
A new two-body interaction recently derived for nuclei in the 0flp shell by fitting two-body matrix elements to 494 energy levels in A = 41-66 nuclei, is used to investigate the neutron-rich nuclei in the vicinity of the doubly closed nuclide 48Ca. This study is of fundamental interest in providing a test for the new effective interaction away from the stability line. Masses and binding energie...
